Math Poem/Rap

To fund the area of a rectangle. It aint a question cause you have to multiply. Do be more specific you gotta multipl length x width...yeah but ya aint finished yet cause ya gotta put cm2 or any of the type of measurment you are using.

But, when you get a question thats about
per
im
e
ter

you gotta add all of his sides and find the total answer.

THEN YOUR FINE!!

Area&Perimeter

Hey,,

Perimeter:

To find th perimeter of a shape you have to add up all sides of the shape or object. Like the perimter highway goes all around Winnipeg so i know that to find the perimter of a shape you have to find evey side of it.That is how i tell that from area.

Area:

TO find the area of a shape you multiply LxW. So if i have a rectangle that is 5cm in legnth and 9 cm in width i know that the area of my rectangle is 45cm2.
That is how i know what area is.

Perimeter&Area

Hey,

Perimeter:

For me if I am trying to remeberthe difference i know that perimeter is all the sides added up,becuse the perimeter highway goes all around the city
and that is the perimeter or the city. So with a shape i measure and look at every side of it and that will be the area. That is how i tell that for area.

Area:

T find the area of a shape you have to do LxW and that is how you get the area. So if i have a reqtangle length 5cm and width 9cm i multiply 5x9=45 and the area of that reqtangle is 45cm2. That is how i tell that differnt from Perimeter, and that is how i know what area is

Parallelograms

Hey,

When we were working on our pallelegrams qestions in smart notebook. I thought that the qestions were easy because we only had to meausure the height and base and then we would times them, to find out our answer. If we have an iregrelar polygram if it is on graph paper, then you add up all the squares, and if there is half squares you have to find a match and make a whole square. Then after you have found all half squares you add everything up.

Find the Missing measerment

Hey,

We had to find the missing measerment to the triangle. One side was 41mm and the other side was 5cm. Since we had to find in mm and cm i first converted 41mm to 4.1cm. Then i converted 5cm so 50mm. Now since we know the total perimeter of the triangle is 16 cm we can the add up both measurments we already have and subtract them from 16. I did 5+4.1=9.1, then i subtracted 9.1 from 16(16-9.1=6.9) So the missing side of the triangle is 6.9 cm and 69mm. So that is found out the missing measerment.

Math Respond

Hey, In math we had a question and we had to answer which one we found the easiest. I thought that Owens was easiest because it took the least amout of steps to complete, and it was faster.
